Perpetual Calendar by Yvonne Blair

Hello everyone.
I found this little notepad box at TJ Maxx and thought it would be the perfect base for a perpetual calendar.

I decided to use the Tell Your Story line because of its fun look.  First, I covered the box base with the back of Scalloped Border.

I then added some washi tape around the base and borders from the die cut border package.

I also added a decorative clock brad and some butterflies punched out of Ledger (back side).  Then it was time to figure out the sized of chipboard to use.  The box was 4" wide so I cut the chipboard to 3 3/4" so it had a little wiggle room.

I used a variety of heights so they were staggered.

Using the Cricut Mini (Designer Calendar Cartridge) I cut out the months, days and numbers.  I adhered those to the covered chipboard.  I love this.  My daughter has now informed me she wants this one for her desk.  I think it would also make a great handmade Christmas gift.

Hope you enjoyed.  Don't forget to "like" Teresa Collins Designs on Facebook.  There are some fun games to play.  I wonder who will be this weeks "Guess which Design Team Member" will be.
