Candy Cane Lane Cards - Melissa Phillips

Christmas will be here before you know it and this is the time of year I love picking out new holiday supplies and get to work creating.  Teresa Collins' new Candy Cane Lane collection is irresistible and so much fun to create with.  I've created a couple of cards to share with you today using elements from this sweet new collection.

I pulled out the Candy Cane Lane acrylic stamps for this first card, using watermark ink and gold embossing powder for the snowflakes down the left side of my card.  I then layered sequins and adhesive pearls over the top of my stamping to add dimension and color.

All that was left was a bit of patterned paper from the Candy Cane Lane 6x6 Paper Pad, chipboard, and enamel dots...all from this wonderful collection.

This card uses a Candy Cane Lane die cut tag as the focal point layered over candy cane paper from the 6x6 paper pad.  I love the darling vintage images used throughout this collection.

I added chipboard and a die cut and then began layering other elements including a cardstock sticker, snowflake sequin, and enamel dot...all so much fun to create with and coordinate perfectly with all of the elements from this collection.

Lastly, a Candy Cane Lane button to finish it off.  You'll love creating with this collection and will find yourself singing Christmas carols before you know it :).
