It's begining to look a lot like Christmas, Santa's List Stitched Mini Album by Cheri Piles

I am just in the mood, I can't wait to put up the tree and deck the halls. However I WILL WAIT to first celebrate Thanksgiving. I wanted to share with you this fun little mini using the Santa's List Stitched notebook, I had so much fun making it!!

I wanted to share with you this fun little mini using the Santa's List Stitched notebook, I had so much fun making it!! I have loved creating and altering these little stitched notebooks!! On the cover I used embellishments from the die cut sheet, chipboard and the now hard to find sequins.
This is the inside cover, the December is from the note cards sheet and I used another die cut "Christmas Wishlist". On Page one, I used the largest gift bag with the Santa on it and added photo corners to the bottom corners. I made the tag inside the gift bag from the "Santa" glittered paper. A few more die cuts, stickers and sequins finish up the page.

On this one, I created pocket pages from the "snowflakes" paper (side b) then adhered them to the pages. I layered the pockets with the sentiment from the "Ledger" paper.

The "postcard" paper is so much fun, you can get a lot of use from it, as you can see the part I cut out on the left takes up the entire page. I added a snowflake border strip, folded the end over to show snowflakes on each sided, trimmed the end off to fit on the page and the overlapping snowflake becomes a "tab" on the page. On the opposite page I layered the back side of the "snowflakes" paper, another cute gift bag and tag, then I added a library card and the chipboard month.  Layers, layers and more layers, I just love it!!

Here is another page with pocket pages stuffed with tags made from the papers from the collection. On the right, I used another one of the envelopes and added a notecard. I layered the large chipboard snowflake over it and topped it with the "25" from the sticker sheet.

I agree, it's the most wonderful time of year, everything just seems so magical!!

Earlier I used part of this same sheet, and I'm using it again, I love how you don't need to add anything to it really!!  I had a left over mini album from another project and it fit perfectly on the  right side page. I love being able to add items to these books that will give you EXTRA pages!!

This is the last page, I thought the sentiment with Santa was a great way to end the book!

I have shared now a few examples of what you can create with the stitched notebooks, I love how you can add to them to create more pages, or just decorate them all up or keep them simply stated to create a journal book. I hope I have inspired you to create something fun and unique of your own!

  3. I love this mini album, so cute! I picked up the sequins when I first saw them and glad I did, but I didn't get the little gift bags as I didn't know how I was going to use them, I should have.
