Documenting all Aspects by Stacey Michaud

Typically when I share a page, I am all about giving a tip or a technique that involves the product or an embellishment.  Today, I would like to share the other side of scrapbooking...the importance of telling the story.

I don't just mean the good stuff or the sappy memories.  That should be scrapped.  But sometimes, raw emotions or real feelings we all experience need to also be documented.

I love a good ledger paper as it always gives me room to tell a story!  I wanted to focus on the numerals on the left hand side of the page by creating a list.  For this page, I decided to share how I am sometimes hard on my son.  He is the oldest so I expect a lot.  He is a really great kid and I want him to know that I know that about him.  I hope one day he will look back and realize that I struggled with this feeling.

I used the arrows to point the journaling.

I also used the artisan edge to ground the photo and point to the journaling.  I finished off the cluster with a brad.

I love this photo of us and the love that is captured.  I am sure that he will see my pride and his joy.  He will read the words written in my handwriting and he will know that I adore him.

That should be documented.
