Here's the STORY album by Teresa Collins

I am so excited to visit the Design Team Blog today and share one of my projects that I created using the Family Stories Collection from CHA Summer. The Family Stories Collection is one of my favorites and I think it really captures the feel of our crazy family. This mini album I am showing today has so many details, yet is simple enough to create that anybody can make it!

One of my favorite things to incorporate into my layouts and albums is foam squares. I cannot express enough how much dimension they can add to a page that would otherwise look flat. So, many times I adhere stickers and die cuts- and even pictures- to the page with foam squares.

The file folders add an element to the album that I love. With the built in page "flap" it really adds more space to document and add some simple detail.

I love creating page flaps using notecards from the collection. All you have to do is score the paper about 1/2" from whichever edge you want to adhere to the page and then place adhesive just on that section. Once you place it on the page it creates an element that would not have been there had you just adhered the whole notecard flat on the page.

Thank you so much for visiting the blog today and I hope you enjoyed the album!
