Guest Designer Jordan Hasek is back this month using Memorabilia!!

Hi everyone, my name is Jordan Hasek and I'm so excited to be back on the Teresa Collins Design Team Blog!! Today I have three layouts to share with you that I made with the Memorabilia collection. I love this collection so much and the colors in this line just look so great together!!

On this layout I used many embellishments. I love to create lots of embellishment clusters and use all kinds of product. In the cluster on top left, I used a banner sticky note, a die cut, a arrow I cut out from the 6x6 paper pad, and some enamel dots (which I'm obsessed with) along with a brad. I simply just layered the die cuts and the sticky note banner.

I really liked all the banners that came with the chipboard element sheet so I knew I wanted to use them in a really cool way. Here I just punched out all the banners and lined them up along the bottom of my two photos. Then I added some brads in between some of the banners to kind of pull it all together so it wouldn't look like they were just laying on the page. I love how it turned out!!

These dimensional stickers are also one of my favorite embellishments along with the enamel dots. There great for adding another vocal point to your page and grabbing someones attention.

For my second page, I decided not to make a traditional scrapbook page. I wanted to make an inspiration page with a saying. I cut out the words "Believing in yourself is the first step to success" on my Cricut with various types of fonts. For the two main important words I filled the backing with gold sequins from the brand new sequins pack. Then I took the really fun washi tape set and put strips of washi tape on some scrap paper and backed the other words with it to fill in the word.

Here I just finished off the page with some final embellishing. I used some enamel dots and a chipboard piece.

I really like how the gold sequins help these words pop of the page and grab the eyes attention.

As much as I really love making pages with an overflowing amount of products, I also really like to make simple and clean pages. When I want to do a simple page, I prefer white or a very small pattern for the background paper. In this case I chose white. Another technique I like to do on simple layouts is sew around the boarder of the paper a few times with just plain white thread.

Next I layered up some pattern papers from the Memorabilia 6x6 paper pad and just ruffled up the edges of the sides for extra texture and dimension.

Here I snuck a little strip of washi tape under the layers.

I used this yellow broken chevron washi tape to make my own banner shape by just putting strips of it down on some white paper, then just cutted the shape out that I wanted. Then I just punched out and cut out some other shapes to go along the top right corner to form another cluster.

I really enjoyed working with this amazing collection!! I hope you enjoyed looking at my layouts and thank you so much for having me!!
