Haunted Mini By Yvonne Blair

Hi everyone Yvonne here with a Haunted Mini Album featuring Teresa Collins new line Masquerade Party.
I know it's a little early, but if you get your mini done now, all you will have to do is add the pictures.
Good idea...right!  Planning ahead and getting organized....that has been one of my goals for this year.
So here you go.
On the front cover I tucked one of the die cut embellishments in one of the paper treat bags.
I thought it helped to add a little misty spookiness.

I used one of my favorites methods of book binding. Back to Back.
You measure each page fold it in half and adhere them back to back.
Then simply adhere the front part of the book insides to the back of the front cover and visa versa for the back of the book.
All the pages measure 8 x 11 1/2.  Simply fold them in half.
You can use whatever papers appeal to you or follow along with me.
The right page is using one of the file folders as an extra fold out.

On the next page use one of the treat bags to create a pocket.  Kind of fun right.
On the right I cut a piece of scrap to 3 1/4 x 5 1/2 and made that a place to put a picture as well as a pocket.

Pictured above the right page is using another treat bag to create a pocket behind as well as on the right side.  Love to have lots of pockets for extra journaling and pictures.
Above is using another file folder (turned down) to create another pocket.
So many interactive places in this little mini...love that!

Again treat bags used as a photo mat and pocket.  Love these treat bags.
They have so many uses besides stuffing them with treats.
Embellishing is all that's left!  A quick and easy mini that will hold fun Halloween memories!

The measurements of the cover are 6 x 8.
Supplies used:
Masquerade Party papers
Masquerade Party Chipboard embellishments, treat bags, decorative brads, die cut borders, die cut embellishments.  Others supplies: Bakers Twine, Studio Matte Medium, Adhesive.
Hope you enjoy.

  2. Question? If you folded each page in half and attached the covers to the front and back half. How did you get the other pages to stay together? I'm asking because this does seem like a fast way to do a mini and I like fast. TFS.

    1. When you fold the pages, you adhere them back to back. Once you have the inside pages all adhered together that is when you attach the front and back cover. It really is fast and easy. I hope this helps! Thanks for your question!
