My Favorite Time Layout by Dedra Long

The Moments Collection is perfect for those everyday moments as well as the special moments in life. Usually for an anniversary layout you think of hearts, love, pink, red kind of a Valentine layout.
It was perfect for documenting our anniversary at the end of January.
I love the stamps in this collection, such a mix of whimsy but also graphic.

We took a little trip up north to Jerome Arizona for a couple of days. We have been up there several times and thought about getting married up there, but we decided to keep expenses down and get married in town at the Botanical Gardens. We toured the little downtown area and stayed at the Grand Hotel which is haunted. We were up most of the night listening to giddy teenagers talk about
ghost hunting. It was a nice little getaway, just the two of us.

Thanks for stopping by!

    1. Hi Carolyn! I stitched after I arranged and glued the photos down. I was looking at the layout and decided that I needed to bring more focus to the photos.
      Thanks for your comment!

    1. Your layout is so full of great ideas and a lesson in less is more! Love that really the stamping and stitching are the really are the only things used in the layout. Your photos and journaling are the focus. Also like that you used nontraditional colors for an anniversary lo and also how you stitched the four quadrants for the focus. The colors in your photos are accented by the blacks & blues in the stamping and embellishments. Fun stamps!

    2. I find that sometimes it can be harder to follow that rule less is more when your trying to put a layout together. Making sure to use products in a clever way, a unique way while also trying to achieve the focus of photos and the story!
Teresa's collections are so easy to use whether your a simple scrapper or altered one.
Thanks SO much for such a wonderful comment! :)

  33. Great layout! I don't ever write directly on my page-don't want to mess up and have to redo a page!! But I like how it personalizes your page, so maybe I'll give it a try :)
