Happy Valentine's Day!
Hope you are enjoying the creative cards we are making this week. I wanted to show you a couple of cards I created using the Memories Collection.
Supplies:
Dots MEM105
Subway Calendar MEM103
Die-Cut Sheet MEM125
- I love to make my own embellishments.
- So I used a 1.5" circle punch to punch out "love this" out of the Dots MEM105 paper.
- I also cut out the red banner pennants out of the circle elements to create the banner on either side of the "love this" element. I used foam squares to adhere the element to the circle/banner piece of the card.
- Then to create the base I used the remember die cut and the small doily die cuts from the Die-Cut Sheet MEM125 and layered the elements to the base of the card using the back of the Subway Calendar paper MEM103b.
- For the hearts, I used left over glitter foam from my kids valentine cards. Then I added the "forever in my heart" text from the die cut sheet MEM125 on top of the card.
- Again, I love layering and using foam squares to give dimension to my cards.
Supplies:
Calendar MEM106
Doily MEM101
Die-Cut Sheet MEM125
Subway Calendar MEM103
- I used the back side of the Calendar page as my base.
- Next I cut a white piece of cardstock and ran it through an embossing plate with my die-cut machine to create texture.
- Then I used the back of the Subway Calendar MEM103 as the base of my element.
- Next I took the red pennant and cut out the "NO." off by cutting out a V at the end of the pennant to create a banner.
- Next I used a 1.5" scallop punch and used the diagonal stripe paper in the doily MEM101 paper. Then I used the blue and white button die-cut as a layer and used foam squares to add the you & me die cut to the center of the embellishment stack.
- I added it all the the right bottom side of the page.
- To keep with the roundness of the page I corner rounded all the corners of the pages.
Thank you for stopping by today.
