Today we are so honored to have the one and only Sherry Mendoza here on the Teresa Collins Designs DT Blog. Here are some amazing cards she made with the current collections:
Collections used:
Card 1 - She Said
Card 2 - Far and Away
Card 3 - He Said
So we asked Sherry a couple of questions to get to know her a bit and this is what she said:
What is your scrapbooking style? I am pretty adaptable and can do many different styles from simple/stylish to messy/mixed media.
How did you start scrapbooking/card making? LOL that is a funny story - a friend of mine had become a Creative Keepsakes consultant and dragged me along to one of her demonstrations. At the end of the demo she told me that she would not take me again because I didn't stick to the 'rules' and follow her instructions - I did my own thing :)
What influences your designs? My photos mostly and of course the products, unless I am doing an art journal and then it is definitely my mood.
How long do you spend working on a layout or card? I am usually a fairly quick scrapper so maybe an hour or so. If I am doing a mini album I like to add a lot of pockets and flaps so that takes a fair bit longer.
What does your work area look like when you are working on a project? Well, while I am WORKING on the project it's kind of messy but not too messy. I tend to put everything away as I am finished with it. When I am not scrapping it is very clean!
What is your favorite color combination? Paper: Teal, Orange and Dark Brown Paints/Sprays: Blue/Green or Pink/Orange/Yellow
Do you have any other hobbies? Yes I can knit, crochet, sew and quilt - oh and chocolate (it counts as a hobby right?)
