Teresa:
DeleteI completely understand last year I did not have any resolutions. :)
My NY Resolution is is to always have a supply of cards made and ready to send for birthdays. And to keep my craft roon neater. FYI: I discovered TC papers last summer, and it's all I ever buy now. Quality paper. Nothing comes close!

DeleteWe would love to see some of your creations that you create with any collection. Please feel free to post pictures on the Teresa Collins Designs Facebook page at facebook.com/tcdesigns Or if you are not on facebook you could always send me pictures at sesil@teresacollinsdesigns.com.
Priscilla that is one of my resolutions to!!
DeleteI'm new to the idea of using file folders...and I love them. I took a class where we made a vacation mini using file folders and I loved how many items you could cram into it by using the folders in different ways.
ReplyDeleteMy crafting New Years resolution is to make all of the kits I've purchased. I've got some good ones I've been enjoying looking at and contemplating design, so now it's time to do it. Here's to 2013, I'm going to be a project finisher.
Jodi:
DeleteI know what you are talking about the incomplete projects. Funny thing was that my post was going to be about all my "half" projects that I started but didn't finish for some reason or another. I might have to do that post soon. I will take that pledge with you this year and be a project finisher for 2013. Thanks for the inspiration. :)
i’d like to make more time for scrapbooking and lose some weight (it’s gotten so bad that my knees hurt when i get up or walk) and that’s sad… Thanks for a chance to win! and Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteKelly:
DeleteMaking time for yourself is important. Good luck on the weight loss. I was able to do that last year. It was hard and I am living a new healthier lifestyle. I was surprised the difference it made. You can do it!
2013 is to fill my life with more joy and less blame. Stuff happens and i need to care less what and why... So here's to more JOY in the new year!
ReplyDeleteCary:
DeleteThat is my life mantra. It is hard at times to step back and take a look at the big picture. I am with you on this one. Positive mojo your way. Happy New Year!
One of my news years resolutions is to do some projects for just Me. I tend to do alot of projects for others but I need to do some personal soul searching this year so my 1st goal is to do a journal style mini album to record my personal thoughts. Would love to win some of TC items-can't get enough of them.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Tracy

DeleteI know what you are talking about. There was a time that I felt like I was doing so many gifts for everyone. I have to remember at times it is better to give than receive. This year I am doing Project Life...but it is going to be about ME and what I do. yes my kids and family are part of my life but the focus is going to be me and my thoughts. Something that I can look back on and to be in the NOW.
Good luck with the journal. You will find that you will heal yourself through your journal. It is an amazing process. :)
One of my resolutions is to take more pictures and put them in scrapbooks. I want to chronicle our family's life and this will help me do that.
ReplyDeleteMarci:
DeleteHa ha.. My husband takes more pictures than I do and I am the scrapbooker. But I feel your pain. I was going through my pictures and I noticed that there are times that I have a ton of pictures and other time NONE!!! I am still trying to find the balance. I want to be in the moment and remember the times but not be stuck behind the camera all the time. But like they say practice makes perfect. Take more pictures and make more scrapbooks. :)
I'm so excited about the upcoming year to see all the new stuff. Good luck everyone for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteAndrea:
Deletekeep checking on the blogs to see the new stuff. They are amazing. I am working on some projects now... I love the new collections. :)
I got my now and then collection and am dying to do something different, it's one of my all time favorites!!
DeleteI love NOW AND THEN. It is so easy to work with and I feel like it goes with so many of my pictures. You will enjoy that collection. :)
Delete2013 will be one that focuses on the positives and all the blessings that I am given. I need to refocus my life and look towards all the excitement and events with eyes wide open perspective. So excited for all the fun projects that 2013 will bring!
ReplyDeleteKelli:
DeleteI was just telling my husband the same thing yesterday. I want us to focus on the GOOD things in our life and not harp on all the negative. It is about enjoying the moment and realizing that living is about the NOW. I like what you said. "eyes wide open" I will have to take that perspective too. Thanks for the inspiration. :)
I don't really make "resolutions", but, I have a couple of things that I want to continue to work on this year...
ReplyDeleteI want to continue to DO things that I never even thought about doing before...last year, I swam with a dolphin in Curacao...I climbed to the top of a glacier in Alaska & I did a 2 month, 10,000 mile road trip with my DH & I LOVED every minute of it!!!! This year, our 1st trip will be to the Mexican Riviera to celebrate our 31st Anniversary!
And then, because I'm having so many new adventures...I've GOT to find a way to scrap them so that I can keep enjoying & reliving the memories I'm making!!
Thanks for the chance to win this great giveaway!!!
WOW SCRAPPY MAMA!!!
DeleteThat is amazing that you swam with the dolphins, and your amazing trip. Remember that a scrapbook does not have to be all about the pictures. Just writing down the memories and what putting down on paper what you felt is a way to share your experience. Just get it down in writing. There is no right or wrong to scrapbooking. This is your story and you can tell it anyway you want. Capture and CHERISH these memories. Happy New Year! :)
Happy New Year to all!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be a great year i can just feel it!!
I have never really had resolutions. Frankly they scare me.
This year though i have a few!! I haven't scrapped or crafted at all really for about 5 years. I feel it is time to get back to me! This is something i love! (Plus i feel very behind lol)
I also want to read more. So i plan to read a book a month!!
Last but certainly not least (probably most important) I am going to focus on my HEALTH and FITNESS!! Look out gym rats here i come!! Sugar be gone!!
Thanks for letting me share some of my resolutions with y'all!!
Once again: HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!
WOW. Thank you for sharing your resolutions.
DeleteOnce you get that crafty bug back you will be enjoying it all over again. (Don't feel behind...everyone feels that way.)
Reading....I have not been a big reader when I was younger. But in the last couple of months I can not stop reading. It is another escape for me. It feels good to let my imagination run with the story. GOOD FOR YOU.
Health and FITNESS. I was the one that never had to worry about my weight until I had kids. I recently lost some weight and I was SURPRISED how much Energy I had when I would exercise. I am a big advocate for living a healthy lifestyle. WAY TO GO!!!
:)
My resolution for the new year is to start writing things in a journal, and to take more pictures. Moments pass so quickly. It's sometimes so unbelievable how quickly time passes! I don't want my children to forget things that have happened, and I think by journaling it will also help me think about all the blessings I have in my life. Thanks for the great giveaway. I love Teresa Collins products!
ReplyDeleteOh wow Sesil this is simply gorgeous. I love it! My New Years resolution is to craft more as since having my little girl 2 years ago I always seem to run out of time. I love scrap booking and making memory albums. I want to remember as much as I can. I love making little books and different things like this. I cannot wait to see the next sneak peak from Teresa xx
ReplyDeleteLove the file folder ideas. However, I have not to date used all the inspiration to make any.
ReplyDeleteI have determined this year to be thankful to clean up after my family. Since everyone (in my family) is an adult I have been frustrated when I see things they have used laying around. So I will be happy this year to throw away, pick up, put in their room.....whatever, with a smile on my face, because GOD has given me a loving, caring & affection family and a nice home. And I am blessed to have them!!!!
Thank you so much for the chance to win.
