A Week In the Life of Noel with Suzanne Sergi

Happy Holidays everyone!

I took a different spin on the Week In the Life Series. I decided to create a scrapbook page featuring our Elf on the Shelf. I will admit I have seen some really creative photos of the Elf on pintrest. A few of the ideas, I have tried duplicating in our household. Our Elf's name is Noel, and once again, I turned to the Teresa Collins December 25 Cricut Cartridge. This cartridge is getting its work out this season!

Meet Noel:

For this page, I used the Christmas Cottage. I did edit my photos to black, and white so it would compliment this gorgeous Christmas collection. I used the chipboard elements, the stamp set, festive buttons, and the border strips all found within the Christmas cottage collection. I used one primary photo of our Elf on this page, and a strip of his different poses along the bottom of the page. I created a 2x3 border strip of photos, and finished the empty photo with patterned paper.

I was thrilled to find the word Noel on the Cricut cartridge! The intricate details on the word were perfect for this whimsical page of Noel. For the center of the O, I embellished it with a stamped snowflake, and embellished the center with a bit of bling.

Of course, even a great Mom can forget to take a photo each day. I will also admit to trying to come up with creative ideas each day. I rely on Pintrest for inspiration, and also on quick thinking as my kids run downstairs to see what their beloved Elf is up too! A few times they have come close to catching me! So, the missing photo has been replaced with a question mark. We never know what our crazy Elf will be up to next!

Finally, a closeup of the funny things our Noel has been up to this past week. He decided to hang upside down from the light fixture, open a Coke bottle that the kids knew not to open until Christmas Eve, and took a sign to hide along with  in the Christmas tree. My kids are 14, 9, and 8. I feel blessed that my 9 and 8 year old still believe. However, you are never too old to believe in the magic of Christmas!

Wishing you, and your families a Very Merry Holiday!
