All About Layers Using Chipboard Elements

Happy Monday! Today, I have a page to share with you using the new Vintage Finds Collection. I really love the neutral, and elegant color palette of this collection. I changed my photos of my sweet son, and daughter to black and white. I love their expressions, and love the special relationship between the two of them. I wanted my finished page to be simply that, special, and sweet.

On the following page you will find fun borders, inking, and multiple layers. I love incorporating stamps to add small details to my projects. They give projects a bit more interest, without adding extra dimension onto your pages. However, I will admit, I am all about dimension, too! Which is why I love using the chipboard elements found in this collection, too. They are perfect as is, but with a bit of paper,
you can create your own unique embellishments.

On this page the following supplies were used:

Vintage Finds: Clocks, Flowers, Black Damask, Dots, Brads, Chipboard Element 2, Washi Tape, Stamps 1, Stamps 2, Layered Stickers

Fabrications: Metal Photo Corners

Cuttlebug: Teresa Collins Timeless Embossing Set

Here I used  the large chipboard damask as my main embellishment on the page. I layered a circle piece of vellum on top, and paired it with a black label. Then I punched a flower shape from the Clocks paper, and finished the center with a chipboard damask flower. A brad from the Vintage Finds Collection was the last detail added to the center.

At the top of the page, I embossed a small tag that I stamped using the arrow image found on the Vintage Finds Stamp 2 set. Again I used another black label on top, and another punched flower. The small clocks found in the corner of this page were punched from the Clocks paper. On top of them, I layered chipboard clocks, and used rhinestone brads for the centers.

Finally, I added an embossed cream banner, to the left of  the page. Here I layered the polka dot orange circle on top to finished the triangle of the orange elements found on this page. I used another black label, and the rectangle chipboard element from the Chipboard Elements 2. On top, I used a small strip of washi tape right across the middle.

This page is going to sit on a shelf above my computer to remind me of how lucky I am to be their Mother every single day!

Happy Labor Day everyone!
