Framed DIY wedding gift using Vintage Finds by Cheri

I love a good wedding, but more than that I love to create something for the happy couple that is personal, that has meaning and I hope that they will cherish.

Our very good friends said "I DO" this last weekend and we could not be happier for them. I created this piece that they can hang on their wall for years to come as the papers used are TIMELESS...

For the background paper I used "black damask" Both sides. I love the words on the back side. I cut the sheet in half and used the words on the left side of my base and the black damask on the right.

In the top right I stamped their wedding date onto the layered sticker banner with clock and added a black rhinestone to the clock.

On the right side I added the glittered scalloped borders to the right of my sheet music then added clock washi tape over the seam of the music notes and glitter border. I added more black rhinestones to the clocks on the washi tape.

The sheet music I downloaded from musicnotes.com and it is their wedding song - "It's your love" by Tim McGraw. I found that the website has hundreds of music to choose from, you need to make sure you have plenty of toner and the paper you want to print on, you only get ONE chance to print. Once I had the sheet music printed I copied them and reduced it so I could fit all of the strips onto my base for the frame. I printed onto linen paper and inked the edges of the strips. I love linen paper.
