First & Last Days layout by Julie Jacob

I will admit it.  I am a Pinterest junkie.
When I saw this idea there, I knew I wanted to do it.
All it required was for me to dig through about 14 albums before I found my son's first day of Kindergarten picture.  But I found it!

My son Lucas graduated from High School last weekend.  On his last day of school, I took his picture...while he held a picture of himself on his first day of Kindergarten.  First and Last.
And I'll stop there, or I will be going for the Kleenex.

Ok.  It's a little hard to see how cute he was at 5.

Ok.  Still a little hard.  But trust me, he was cute.  And little.  So not 6'5".  How on earth did 13 years go by so fast?  I feel like I blinked.

I used a combination of Fabrications: Canvas, My Mind's Eye & October Afternoon.

Be careful...it can happen to you.  One minute they're in diapers...next thing you know, they're getting a diploma and leaving home.

Supplies Used:

Patterned Paper:  Fabrications Canvas: Yellow Flower & Floral Garden, MME Miss Caroline - Howdy      Doody "Like" Ledger Paper.

Stickers:  Fabrications Canvas, October Afternoon.  Alphas:  Studio Calico & Jillibean.

Embellishments:  Fabrications Canvas die cuts, Decorative Brads, Stamps & Trinkets.  Lace ribbon - Jolee's Boutique, Other die cuts - October Afternoon, Washi tape - Hambly.

Wood alphabet stamps

Mist - Studio Calico - Water Cooler.

Ink - Tsukineko - VersaFine - Onyx Black.

Typewriter for journaling on white cardstock.

Sewing machine
