Hi TCD fans! Amanda here to share with you how I made this layout with the focus on a large photo.
I wanted to use a large photo here as the photo was taken on a recent day trip to "The Eden Project" in Cornwall, UK. It is a photo of a waterfall taken from above the level of the rainforest canopy, so I wanted to give it perspective on the page. I enlarged my photo to measure 8 1/2" wide to fit the page size I wanted to create. The layout is based on a piece of 8 1/2" x 11" cream cardstock. The rest of the supplies are all from the Fabrications Linen collection.
1. Mount your photo onto the reverse of a piece of 'Red Flowers' paper, leaving a 1/4" border at the top.
2. Tuck the circular die cut piece between the photo and the red flowers paper, leaving semi-circle shape poking out of the top. Add a red fleur-de-lis die-cut on top of the photo and circle die-cut.
3. Stick the scalloped border sticker along the bottom of the photo.
4. Layer the 'Life delights in life' chipboard piece on top of the green label die-cut and adhere to the bottom right of the photo.
5. Add a few label stickers and die-cuts to the bottom right of your page to house your journaling.
Have a great day, everyone! Make sure to follow us on Facebook! Spread the word, we have some exciting things coming up with CHA around the corner!!
I love the photo Amanda, this is such a great layout!
