Sweet Afternoon Vintage Frame - Julie Jacob

Alternate post title:  My sad entryway with the big blank space on the wall.
But that seemed a little long.
Here's the problem:

This is one side of my entryway.  The picture is a little skew-wonky...as it's a pretty small area, and I was flat up against the opposite wall taking the picture with a wide angle lens.  Are you with me?
I like the antique dresser thingy.  Love the typewriter, big old dictionary, map, and basket of rolled up goodies on the floor.  But the blank spot next to the map needed help.
(Just so you know...I photoshopped in the X...I really don't have one on my wall.)

I had found this frame a couple of years ago (that's how long stuff lays around my house)...here's a close up:

I decided a little Sweet Afternoon + some vintage goodness would look perfect in the sad spot.
The frame opening was 8x10...so I cut a piece of chipboard that size & adhered a layer of burlap over it.
Then I cut a piece (smaller, so the burlap would show) of SA - At the picnic (diamond side).
Next...I added bits & pieces of vintage goodies.  I used a Bingo card, a flash card (misted), a J covered in dictionary paper, some hearts, washi tape, some bling....some chipboard Sweet Afternoon.
Basically, everything ME went into that frame.

The J is on pop dots, for a little dimension...as is the whole piece on the burlap.
And my entryway is much happier:

Yay!  At least I think it's better than the big X. :)
