INTERNATIONAL GUEST ARTIST Rianne with an amazing layout using Spring Fling

INTERNATIONAL GUEST ARTIST Rianne with an amazing layout using Spring Fling!

Before Rianne even designed her layout, she knew she wanted a layered, dimensional look.  So she “fussy cut” J over 40 little flowers,  24 hot air balloons, and lots of small butterflies.

She created dimension in the hot air balloons by gluing two together in the middle.

To create depth in the layout, she used an embossing ball tool to curl the petals of the flowers.

For the border, she used a large daisy punch (Martha Stewart) on the butterfly paper…then added a sticker border.

For the mixed red flowers, she created some extra flowers by punching daisies from the paisley paper.  Then she rolled them with the ball tool and adhered three layers on top of each other.  She used this technique with the large green flower as well.

She created her fun look by layering all the little flowers on the layout, mixing them with the die cut flowers and butterflies…and then adding punched birds.  She also added two chipboard pieces and the die cut quotes.

To finish it off, she used the ‘I want to remember’ stamp from the Everyday Moments set.  And…..only 7 hours later…she was done!  Rianne based her layout on the April sketch from the Once Upon a Sketch blog.

You are amazing Rianne!  Thank you so much for sharing!

Here's a little more from Rianne:

My name is Rianne, 35 years old from Arnhem, The Netherlands. I started scrapbooking 2 years ago and since then my style has (obviously) evolved. Currently I am all into layouts with loads and loads of small details, I like creating my own embellishments and flowers from patterned paper. For me, creating a good layout takes time. I often put away a creation to take another look at it the next day and add something more. My favorite scrapsubjects are my three year old nephew and my one year old niece. I am addicted to looking at blogs of creative scrapartists and seeing all of the beautiful designs that are out there. I am so honoured to be featured on this website of Teresa Collins, thank you so much!!
