Untitled Layout by: Sesil Cratin

Hi everyone, Sesil here again. I don't know if you are like me when working on my layouts. I get an idea in my head, and I just run with it. Well, I did that with this layout, and as you see I have no title for my layout. I hit a creativity wall. Stopped dead in my tracks.  I like the way the layout is headed, but it is missing a title!

So I am asking all of you to help me complete my layout.  What would you title this layout? Where would you place it on the layout? Journaling... where would you journal?  I would love to hear your suggestions.

Just to help you out here:  This is a picture of my oldest daughter Sammie.  This was one of the pictures we used for our holiday card.

Here are a couple of detail shots of the layout.  I love creating my own embellishments and sewing on my projects.

I would love to hear your suggestion on my layout.  Leave a comment on what you would title this layout and where you would add the journaling.  I will pick a random winner to win a goodie bag of Teresa Collins Designs Christmas Home collection FROM MY PERSONAL stash.  So leave your comments below before Dec. 4. And I will announce a winner on my personal blog on Monday Dec. 5th.  I can not wait to get your input on how to complete my layout.

Make sure you keep checking this blog because we are going to be playing TAG. All month long!! Tags and more tags!!!! I am so excited!  Don't forget to leave a comment and let me know what you think.

  4. Title: Christmas Love (on the top)
I would journal on the bottom

  5. Title: Santa's Baby in red over the third strip (the black and white one)
Journaling: I would just add the year with a green marker between the second and third rows since I am sure you have other pictures from that Christmas to scrapbook.

    Hope that helps!

  6. i would put the title over the b&w snowflake strip on the right and then i would journal around the edge of the white paper, inside the stitching.

now, i like a long title with mixed big and small letters. and, i like movie quotes. so, "you're so pretty, you should be on a christmas card". yeah. love ELF. :) (just ask julie)

  8. Sesil, I {{{heart}}} this layout!!! To add your thoughts, I would add a hidden journaling spot with a little pullout tab peaking out between the black & white photo mats.
For a title, I cannot resist those sparkley eyes. Inspired by one of the lines from the book 'Twas Night Before Christmas, I would title it: her eyes, how they twinkle!
I would add the title on the black & white snowflake strip :)

  9. Sesil....this page is GORGEOUS!!!!! I think it is perfect just the way it is!!!! If you have a story to tell then of course you need to add the journaling....if it is only a few lines, then you could add some journaling strips to the top in the white space or the top and bottom in the white space. If it is lots to say, you could add a tag and tuck it behind the photo and photo matting.
