Haunted Hallows Cards by Jamie Harder

I absolutely love to send my family and friends cards and there is nothing like receiving a homemade card in the mail! So I decided to make a few Halloween cards using the fabulous Haunted Hallows collection.

I think paper pumkins are so fun and I wanted to try making one on a card. I love the way it turned out and it easily flattens to fit in an envelope! To make this card, I used Haunted Hallows Damask and Frames paper as well as white, orange and green cardstock.

Here is how I put my card together: Use orange cardstock measuring 5.5 x 4.25 inches as the base. Trim white cardstock 5.25 x 4 inches, round corners and adhere to orange base. Stamp sentiment on bottom right hand side of white cardstock. Cut out 8 circles with a diameter of 2 inches from Haunted Hallows Damask and Frames paper. Fold circles in half and glue together. Using a one-inch piece of green cardstock, roll and adhere to white cardstock. Adhere “pumpkin” to the green “stem” on the card.

For my next card, I wanted it to be a bit "spookier". I used the Haunted Hallows 6x6 pad, which is so perfect for cards! I also used the Haunted Hallows Spiderweb and Witch paper as well as the die-cuts and trims. You will also need white and green cardstock.

Here is how I put this card together: Use Calendar paper from 6x6 pad and trim to 5.5 x 4.25 inches. Use as base.Trim white cardstock to 5.25 x 4 inches and adhere to base.Trim black word paper from 6x6 pad to 5.25 x 1 in and adhere 0.5 in from top of white cardstock.Trim "Poison" paper (back side) from 6x6 pad 0.5 inches. Cut zig zags and adhere.Trim green cardstock 5.25 x 0.25 inches and adhere below "poison" paper piece.Trim die-cut spider piece to 5.25 inches and adhere below green cardstock.Trim "spiderweb" paper to 5.25 x 0.75 inches and adhere below die-cut piece.Cut out "beware" from "Poison" paper and tuck under "poison" paper from the 6x6 pad.Cut out witch from "Witch" paper and adhere on left hand side using pop dots for dimension.Use "31" die on right hand side.

For my last card, I used the Haunted Hallows Spiderweb, Damask, Witch, and Words paper, Haunted Hallows 6x6 paper pad, and the die-cuts, trims and brads from this collection.

Here is how I put this one together: Use black cardstock measuring 5.5 x 4.25 as base of card. Trim white cardstock to 5.25 x 4 and adhere to base. Trim Damask paper to 3.5 x 2.5 and adhere to top leaving even white space all around. Trim die-cut piece to 3.5 inches an adhere below Damask paper. Trim black zig zag paper from 6x6 paper pad to 3.5 x 0.75 inches and adhere below die cut.Trim Spiderweb 3.5 inches x 1.25. Wrap trim around top of paper and adhere. Cut out "halloween" from Words paper and tuck under die cut. Adhere brad below "Halloween". Adhere die cuts.
