Thank you everyone for visiting the Teresa Collins Design Team Blog. For the entire month of March we will like to feature each member of the team. We will kick off with getting to know Stacey Michaud.

We asked each team member to answer the following questions and this is what Stacey had to say:
What is your scrapbooking style?
I always struggle with this question. I guess you can call my style "Paper Musing." It changes according to the product I am working with. I take direction from the sayings, patterns and shapes of what is in front of me. Most of my layouts have clean lines with a twist or unexpected element. I love to cluster embellishments, use some white space, and stick with a theme. Journaling is a must for me.
How did you start scrapbooking?
I think I started back in high school when I decorated the inside of my cheerleading megaphone. I was also the Sports Editor of my yearbook committee so I think the love for design was always present. I discovered personal scrapbooking about ten years ago after attending a scrapbooking party with some friends.
What influences your designs?
The product always drives me in a certain direction. I love to cut unique embellishments or use an element in an innovative way. I have to say that the biggest influence is the story I am telling. It helps me decide on the overall them and tone of my layout.
How long do you spend working on a layout?
Anywhere from 1-3 hours. I have gotten speedier over the years.
What does your work area look like while you are working on a project? Clean and organized? Messy and all over the place?
It looks like a bomb went off. It always starts out neat, but it gets destroyed once I start creating. I never throw things out as I go so you will find the backs of foam squares and randoms scraps everywhere.
What is your favorite color combination?
Something with a touch of orange or yellow. I don't think I have a favorite combo, but just need a punch of color somewhere. I prefer brights over muted.
Do you have any other hobbies?
When I am not working and/or being a mom and wife, I scrap. There is not time for much else!

Now here is a great notebook that Stacey created using the Sports Edition II collection. This is what Stacey has to say about this project:
I thought it would be cool to create a notebook to track your fitness program! I was totally inspired after seeing all the word phrases and the sports sayings that are present throughout this entire line! I made a different tab for each area.
Front Cover of the notebook.
