This is a fun mini book where the pages are stitched to the spine of the mini file folder! Yes, directions are included on how I created the pages for this cutie!
I love this Photo of Dan and I as children. Neither of us have changed much and those that know us will love this! Danny loves his riding mower and that's where you will find him most weekends in the summer. I still love big fun hats and large hand bags! I thought it would be fun to do a "He Said" ~ "She Said" mini album using the 6x6 paper pad from the "She Said" collection and one on the NEW mini folders from the "He Said" collection.
These are what truly inspired this mini book:
These are the strips you cut off of the bottom of the 12 x 12 pages - did you know there are 2 per strip, one on each side?? This is the PERFECT collection to make a fun He Said vs. She Said mini book. It will be a great little book to keep on the coffee table, a great conversation piece for company that may not know these fun facts about you!
To prepare I just came up with fun little quirky facts about the two of us and typed them up in word (font used: "typist") then printed and cut them to fit on the pages. I used the arrow stamps from the Vintage Finds stamps.
I love the washi tape and the layered flowers, I put pop dots between the flowers to give them more depth.
This is one of the pages that is stitched together.
Ha, yes that is true, even with GPS I manage to still get lost!
Yes, so true! Neither of us have moved or lived out of state.
And you thought I was the party girl???
Supplies used to create this fun little book: He Said mini file folder. She said 6 x 6 paper pad. She said banners. She said Stickers. He Said She Said - Die Cuts, flowers & buttons.
To create the mini book cover and pages:
Trim the medium file folder to 6" high.
6x6 She Said papers for your inside pages:
Cut colored dots paper 3 1/2
Fold Yellow dots paper 1 1/4 from left side
Fold large blue flowers in half.
Fold Doilies 4 3/4 you will have a strip left over
Cut banners 3 1/2
Sew pages with zig zag stitch:
Yellow dots small strip side to left side of colored dots
Colored words paper (back of doilies paper) small strip to banners.
Lay your folded papers onto fold of mini folder with front of folder face down.
Dots face down, large blue flowers face down, doilies face down then sew with a straight stitch on the fold. This will give you 6 pages and your mini file album cover. Corner round the pages. Decorate all pages as desired using the matching embellishments from the collection He Said She Said.
What a pretty mini album!
