All Boy layout from Suzanne using NEW Now and Then collection

Happy Monday!

I received my box with the new collection, Now & Then last week. All I can say is be prepared to want every piece in this collection. This line has Teresa's signature style all over it. It is perfect for documenting your special boy, or girl. Gorgeous tones of blues, subtle green, rich mahogany, and a classic newsprint pattern. I decided to create a masculine page as one of my first projects.

A little bit of everything on this page of my darling son. I used chipboard, brads, borders, and a bit of inking using the Now & Then Stamp collection.

Here are a few details:

Here you can see the chipboard tag found on the 12x12 Chipboard Elements Sheet. I was so excited to see this in my box! Everything you will need for adding details to your pages, all within one sheet. I love to add a bit of embossing on my pages, so I embossed the chipboard tag seen above. Tied the end with a basic twill ribbon found in my stash. For a bit of fun detail, I pulled the mini star border stamp, and inked it with Stazon.
Above you can see the circular border found in the die cut border package. I really like these, because they are already prepared for you. No punching needed, adding interest instantly! You can also see the stripe pattern underneath the border. This is pulled from the 6x6 coordinating paper pack. A brad adds a bit of masculine detail to the banner on top of the embossed  circle. A bit more stamping using the stamp set. On the left hand side I used two stamps right on top of one another for a bit of interest.
I turned to my Cricut to die cut the BOY embellishment on this page. Every photo of my son reminds me that he is one rough, and tough little man. I would not want it any other way! The finishing details are the masking tape ink again with the same mini star border stamp. I love stamps, and it makes me happy to see my stash of Teresa Collin's stamps accumulating! Perfect for just adding just a bit more to your page, without extra dimension.

Finally, layers of papers, part of a ticket border, and a number chipboard element finished the top of the page! This collection is truly gorgeous, and cannot wait to create a mini book with it, soon!

Have a fabulous week, and we cannot wait to see what you create with Now & Then.

  3. I love this layout, can really use this for scrapbooking photos for my boys and now my Grandson. I love the idea of stamping on the ribbon, I always forget to do little things like that. What Cricut cartridge did you use for the Boy embellishment and the embossing folder if I can ask. Did you weld the letters together or is there a phrase already orientated that way? Love Now and Then.

    1. Hi there! Thank you for your kind comments. The cricut cartridge used is the Graphically Speaking, and the word cut just as is. As for the cuttlebug folder it is called the 5x7 Polka Dots. Hope that helps! Have a great week!
