Okay, I have to admit. I LOVE SKETCHES. I have a friend Lori McClellan that designs for The Hen's Den. I discovered that she was the one that has created their sketches for their challenges on The Hen's Den blog. So I had to ask a huge favor. I asked if she could create some card sketches for me for this blog post. And GUESS WHAT?!?! She said YES. So here are Lori's sketches and my CARDS I created using Vintage Finds!!!
For the first sketch I loved the banner and the layered look. I was so excited I was able to use the washi tape as my banner pieces. Let's not forget the ticket borders, they were the perfect element on the bottom and the chipboard clock with the twine tied through the holes were the perfect accent to the card. I could not believe how fast this card came together with the sketch.
The second sketch appealed to me because of the squares on the card. I was drawn to the fact that I could use different patterns of the paper to create a striking card. I used the 1" square punch and some foam squares to help give more depth to the card. I love the glitter border and I layered the hexagon sticker to black card stock for my sentiment. I loved the way this card turned out.
Thank you so much to Lori McClellan and The Hen's Den for allowing me to steal their Sketch Designer to help me out on my blog post today. Make sure to watch for my next blog post, I might have more to share with you and more amazing SKETCHES by: Lori.... Just saying.
