Baby canvas ~ by Amanda Jones featuring Sweet Afternoon

Hi everyone! We have baby fever here as my new niece is due in less than 2 months, plus we have newborn kittens in our house, too :) So, with babies on the brain, I decided to make a little canvas for the new baby. Although the Sweet Afternoon line is not a baby line, the subtle colours work really well for this.

Supplies: Teresa Collins Designs Sweet Afternoon 6x6 paper pad, Teresa Collins Designs Sweet Afternoon Brads, Teresa Collins Designs Sweet Afternoon Die-cuts, Teresa Collins Designs Sweet Afternoon Stickers, Other - Mod Podge or similar adhesive, 3D foam adhesive, Canvas, Brown ink pad.

Instructions:
1. Take a few sheets of the 6x6 paper and cut into blocks of varying sizes
2. Ink edges and adhere them to your blank canvas in a random fashion, using Mod Podge.
3. Cut out 3 of the flower/doily shapes from the pink paper and ink the edges, then glue 1 at the top and bottom of the canvas, overlapping the edges. Trim away the excess.

4. Trim the large pink journaling die cut in half and layer it with the remaining flower, topped with a brad. I also added more die-cuts and a hand-cut heart, with letter stickers. These embellishment pieces were attached with 3D foam tape. I've left the journaling card blank for now as this is a gift for my niece. I will add on some extra details once she's born :)

I love the tiny letter stickers that come on the Sweet Afternoon sticker sheet. They are perfect for adding your own sentiments to the other stickers and die-cut pieces in the collection.

Thanks so much for your visit today!
