Spotted: Teresa Collins Everyday Moments....

Hi there! I was on Pinterest when I saw this beautiful picture using Everyday Moments collection. We had to share this with you! Her style is just gorgeous and we hope you agree!

Something old-new-borrowed-blue

No I'm not getting married again! I was just being silly and this was the first title that sprang to my mind. Now I guess I'm going to have to explain how it got there.

- Something old: Me - the scrapper
- Something new: Teresa Collins (A first for me!)
- Something borrowed: That would be the duck!
- Something blue: The Greatest View ribbon, buttons and bags!

I'm seriously loving yellow at the moment which is the reason why I was so taken with the 'Every Day Moments' collection from Teresa Collins. One of those 'have to have' shopping sprees! So glad I did because the quality is superb, nothing beats that crisp sound when you cut into good quality paper.
 

I just had to create a layout using these photos of Teddy who managed to get some quality time with his big brother's prized posession 'ducky'. It was more slobbering and chewing than actual playing but he enjoyed it immensely. Ducky needed to be given a quick wash and tumble dry before his rightful owner returned home from school.

I used my stash of Greatest View embellishments and was really thrilled that each colour matched in perfectly with the Teresa Collins collection. Gail had even given me a selection of Greatest Viewchevron ribbon in perfect hues.

Now I do have another 'new' product to add to the collection. Panpastels... thanks to my dear friend Marg who rated these as 'the best things ever'. I am now the proud owner of a whole pile of lovely little pots of pastel paints in yummy colours. So I broke into the grey and re-coloured the little petite doily, another Greatest View staple.

a little travel journal by Julie Jacob

It is finally summer...and around here that means summer soccer tournaments!
Belle's soccer team (the Rangers) is traveling to California in August to play in the Carlsbad Cup.  With a little trip to Disneyland & the beach thrown in.
I thought it would be fun for her to have a little travel journal for the trip. ;)

It's nice and compact (4"x6") so she can keep it in her backpack.  (Or more realistically, my purse.)

I used Everyday Moments, Fabrications Canvas, World Traveler & Sweet Afternoon.  How's that for mixing it up?  The stamp is made with the TC Stampmaker.

I should explain that 27 is her jersey number.  I think she is digging her book...

Let's peek inside a little.  

I used a punch for the tabs at the top.  The stamps on these pages are from World Traveler.  Most of the pages are blank for now.  I wanted her to have plenty of space for notes, things to remember, or autographs at Disney.

I made the Go Rangers! stamp with my Stampmaker.  The pocket page on the right is from a map...the bottom is sewed shut, so she can keep tickets, receipts, etc. in there.  I had thought I was being so clever...using a map of southern California.  And then I punched out Carlsbad and San Diego.  Duh.

The envelope on the right is from the World Traveler album kit...I just cut it down to fit my book, and then sewed the right edge shut.  

The stamp on the left is also made with the Stampmaker.  It's kind of like the team philosophy.  I got the image from an email from the coach, and turned it into a stamp.

And one more page...

I also made a bigger travel journal for myself...I have a picture of it on my blog today.  :)

I had the honor of guest designing over at Scrapbooking from the Inside Out...the theme for the month was Truth.  I love the quote from Dr. Seuss..."Today you are You.  That is truer than True.  There is no one alive who is Youer than You."

I did a layout about my girls...I had caught them being squirrelly together.  I love it when they are goofy TOGETHER...since their personalities are so completely opposite. :)

The kit I used had tons of lovely things in it...including a nice bit of Teresa's Everyday Moments. :)

I just love those big yellow flowers...so fun to cut them out and add them in here and there.

Hi there! When I first saw the Sweet Afternoon Collection, the soft colors, the delicate patterns I thought of babies, little girls, tea parties, spring time, etc.
After printing the photos I took of Jon on his birthday, I noticed his shirt had the same colors as the Sweet Afternoon Collection. Here is what I came up with....

It's so nice when a collection is so versatile that you can scrapbook any occasion or any member of your family from babies, to children, to adults.

Hello everyone! I wanted to share a simple quick card with you all today.

 I like to make easy cards from time to time to keep on hand for when my girls or I may need a card for a celebration. I keep them in a basket so we can easily grab them!

Happy Memorial Day...

I hope you are having a lovely long weekend. :)  

We will be heading to the cemetery this afternoon...they do an amazing program celebrating our veterans and Memorial Day.  Plus they have over 1500 flags lining the drives...it is breathtaking.

I wanted to do a layout for today that celebrated the life of my Dad, who passed away last year.

He was so very proud of being a WWII veteran, and his service in the Army.

The flags in the picture were little ones that were at his grave site.   Those are some of his medals in front of the layout.  

I used the blue papers from the Everyday Moments line with some reds from World Traveler...perfect for Memorial Day or the 4th of July.  The brads are from those two lines too.   It's a little hard to see, but the dictionary paper is the 'freedom' page from an old dictionary.  I accented it with a bling circle.

Crazy Little Thing Called Life...

Hi Everyone – Lowri from Artfull Crafts here to share some projects using the fabulous Everyday Moments Collection. The colors in this collection are fabulous and the papers are very versatile. 

Journal Album

I have created this blank journal album using a combination of plain white cardstock and papers from

the collection.

The wonderful colors really stand out against the plain card and each page has some journaling prompts

for the recipient to start writing.

I have bound the book cover with an eyelet and bakers twine which wraps around a brad to keep the

book closed.

Card and Matching Envelope

The base of this card was cut using my Cameo and this file, and I have kept the additional decoration

quite simple. To create the bird I brushed some white ink over the wooden piece and then stamped over

the top with a clock-face stamp.

The matching envelope was also die-cut using this file here, and I used two of the Everyday Moments Brads and some bakers twine for an office-style closure.

Gift Boxes

I also made these gift boxes using this gorgeous collection – this is just a small sample, and you can see all of them on the A Little Hut blog.

My Statement Layout by Stacey Michaud

One of the many reasons I love the Everyday Moments collection is that it allows you to celebrate all the moments in your life, from big to small.  The themes and word phrases get you thinking about what memories you want to record.  I like to scrap my children and husband, but also think it is crucial to put yourself down on paper.

I decided to capture a small, yet important detail in my life...my style.  Style makes you unique, makes you who you are.  Both the topic of this layout and the design showcase who I am.

This "all about me" layout tells the story behind my big, chunky necklace.  It makes a statement and I adore it!  The layout design sums up my love for white space and funky details.  I like innovative and fun.  What better way to accomplish that than to use the triangle!  I am seeing triangles every where these days.  They are super easy to create...simply punch a square and cut along the center.

I placed mine along the sides to give my layout some balance and to ground the center cluster.  I love how Teresa's chipboard "Favorite" tab resembles the triangular shape...it compliments and actually helped to inspire the design!  I added some fun embellishments like the die-cuts and chipboard flower.

Isn't the yellow background paper dreamy?  I love this color combo...it is very stylin!

Sweet Afternoon "Live Free" layout by Stacey Michaud

What do you think of when you think of sweet?  Right now, at this moment, I am thinking about the Sweet Afternoon collection by Teresa.  I opened my box and squealed when I saw how gorgeous it is...soft pastels with a dose of gray.  A mix of small and big patterns...I love it!

I grabbed these sweet photos of my nieces and nephew!  I have had them for a long time, but needed the right paper.  It came...

I decided to use the collection to make a masculine layout...even though there is a lot of pink!  Here is what I came up with:

I grabbed the predominantly gray and blue goodies from the collection and started!  I knew I wanted to highlight those awesome rectangles!  If you love grids, this sheet of paper is for you!  I used three different photos sized at 3X2 inches.  The rectangles allow for the photos to be spread out, yet still have maintain a clean, grounded design.  I added the navy strips from the Everyday Moments collection.  The design itself is simple so I needed to jazz up the other rectangles.

Look at the gorgeous embellishments!  Tons of die-cuts with awesome sayings, tabs and colors.  Notice the new small alphabet stickers!  I just layered and played until I had enough jazz!

When I was done making this layout, I may have yelled out, "Sweet!".

I am absolutely LOVING Everyday Moments! After all that what's life is really all about isn't it? We do have special occasions to remember, but what about the everyday? 

 I found a quote (probably on Pinterest) that really resonated with me. "If you are constantly running from one moment to the next, what about the moment you're in?" So true. It really made me stop and think. I want to remember the everyday moments. I want my family to remember the everyday moments. How do we do this? By taking time to enjoy those moments, by taking time to preserve those moments. So so important. I look back at my childhood and the memories that stick out in my mind the most are everyday moments, like working with my grandpa in his garage, sitting with him and watching Star Trek. I wish I had pictures to transport me to that time, but I don't. I will make sure that my family has these moments preserved in our scrapbooks.
