I love decorating for Christmas and the paper trees are such a cute addition to the festivities. I created three trees with different looks. To start I rolled a sheet of chipboard into a cone. For each tree I started my layers at the bottom.
For the first tree I used the back side of the calendar paper - the red and white dots. I cut 1 1/2 inch strip, scalloped punched one side then cut slits between each scallop and gently rolled them. I adhered them to the cone about every inch.
For the second tree I used the green and white side of the words paper. Using my wavy blade in my trimmer I cut strips every 1 1/2 and distressed the wavy side and then adhered the strips to the cone.
For the third tree I punched circles from each of my papers from the collection and distressed the edges, then I just started layering them only gluing half of each circle so that the next circle could slide under the previous circle.
Once I was complete I used some of the Trims from the collection to finish off the bottoms.
super quick and easy projects with great impact!
