2013 Vintage Finds Calendar By Suzanne Sergi

Good morning!

I love creating calendars for the new year. I have had some personal changes in my life, that inspired the following mini calendar. With holidays around the corner, I thought October was a great month to start on New Year's projects. It is filled with quotes, inking, pretty embellishments, and papers from the Vintage Finds collection. One of my favorite elements were the chipboard accents that helped to tie the theme together well.

For me this mini calendar will not be used  primarily to list important dates, events, etc. So, even thought it is a calendar, it will be more an inspiration journal as I begin a new chapter in my life. I wanted each page to be filled with quotes, a big bold embellishment on the opposite side. Just little reminders that can inspire me to reinvent a new ME! I love the Vintage Finds collection, and I knew it was perfect for this vintage book.

Here is a peek of some of the pages inside:

There are twelve months to this calendar, I found in my stash. So the were the perfect jumpstart to each month. A perfect word to inspire, and grow as each month passes in the new year. I used the Vintage Finds Bingo 12x12 sheet, and cut each of the cards individually. Perfect to begin each month as t he base for my embellishment on the right hand side.

I have a bold, and fun personality. Ha! So I wanted the opposite page to reflect this as well.
I did insert a large bingo card again from my stash with the word LUCKY. 2013 will be all about growth!
I used the smaller bingo stamp found in the Vintages Find collection, and inked a small card. I placed this on top of a layer of vellum. I anchored it with a small black tag that I cut from Teresa's Cricut Sophisticated Cartridge. My all time Fave!

I love the small chipboard numbers found in this collection. Perfect for documenting the upcoming year on the cover, and for displaying my lucky number! The glittered border is also from this collection, and can be found die cut border strips package.

Thanks for taking a peek at my calendar, and I cannot wait to tuck inside my thoughts, pictures, letters, cards, and small moments as I begin the New Year!

Have a great day everyone!
