A week in a life project life style with Sesil Cratin

Sesil here to show my project with a week in the life.  I have to admit, when I got the assignment I told myself this will give me a chance to see if I like the whole Project Life.  So I thought I would give it a try.

This is what I came up with:

I didn't have any of the Project Life page protectors but I did have the We R Memory Keepers divided page protectors.  So I was using what I had.  I grabbed some of my Christmas Cottage scraps and started layering the papers with my pictures.  This is what I was able to do.

As you see mostly pictures and not much journaling.  My next page will be in a 8.5 x 11 page with all the boring details of my week. I will write out the stories for the kids and all the activities they do during the week.  This will give me an opportunity to write down what the kids say everyday when I ask them. "What was your favorite part of the day?"  I have asked them this question every night at the dinner table since they were able to talk. So I said it here. I will jump on the project life movement.  I will use my Teresa Collins Designs for my inserts and embellishments.  I will make it work to my style.

Hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Great New Year!!!

***WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT***

Christmas Memories in a BOX! By:Sesil Cratin

So here is my version of Kathryn's box.

Now and Then Altered File Folder by: Sesil Cratin

Sesil here today. As you know I have a love of tags. Today's project is something to hold some of my tags I create, an altered file folder. I love that the folder is just an extension of the tags and everything in one place.

Here are some picture of the tag fold outs I created to put in the altered file folder.
To create this easy fold out is to cut one strip of paper to "connect" the two tags together then decorate. It was a quick and easy way to decorate two tags at the same time and a fun interactive piece to the project.

Thank you for letting me share my project with you today.

Oh for the love of tags!! by Sesil Cratin

TAGS TAGS TAGS!!!!  I love tags! They are a smaller canvas to work with and just a little makes it fun.
You can go as simple as you like to filling it up with every technique you know.
I would like to share some tags I created using Teresa Collins Designs Now and Then Collection.
I love the versatile of this collection:

Today Tag
Supplies Used:
Now and Then: Red Flower NT1005
Now and Then: Damask NT1003
Now and Then: Border Strips NT 1017
Now and Then: Chipboard NT1016
Now and Then:Paper Flowers NT1021
Now and Then: Brads #1 NT1012

To create the butterflies I clipped off the top one petal from the paper flowers. I did this to two different sized flowers and layered them on top of each other and added a brad to the center of the butterfly to keep the pieces together.

A Wonderful Day Tag
Supplies Used:
Now and Then: Red Flower NT1005
Now and Then: Clocks NT1006
Now and Then: 6x6 Paper Pad NT1010
Now and Then: Accessories Sheet NT1020
Now and Then:Paper Flowers NT1021
Now and Then: Brads #1 NT1012

I love mixing the 12x12 papers with the 6x6 pad for tags.  For the clock I just cut around one of the larger clocks from the 12x12 paper. From the 6x6 pad I cut out the zig zag pattern to create the smaller borders on the tag.  Mix up the papers from both 12x12 and 6x6 pads and see how they work together.
