Teresa Collins Designs - POSH, Mini Album - "Got GUM?"

Team Member Cheri created this remarkable mini album documenting a visit to The Seattle Gum Wall.  I love the way the Posh Paper Collection gives the photos a great color of pop.

I created the flap tag by folding a 1/4 inch into the binding so it really is acting as a "mini" page. **See the binding: page two is glued to page one on the center**

I love that the pages are all different in size and shape.

I tucked this tag's flap right under the photo. **You can see here the score marks for the binding - this is the center so it has the smallest space between scores.**

Cheri says:
To create the book I createdTemplates made from manilla folders, drawn out in different shapes. For the binding: Score cover/back cover - twice in middle w/half inch between scores, this should give you your cover, your book end & your back cover. Repeat for interior pages, scoring being less then the page before. Before gluing the pages together, create flap tags to go between layers then line up all your center scores & glue all "ends/centers" together. (See photo's with **) Layer photo's, add bling, stamp & add glitter. Place clip on book end & tie ribbon.

Each of the kids wrote a little note to their dad...it's on the back of their page (photo on the front).

Teresa Collins Designs - POSH, Design Team layout Inspiration

Design team member Jamie Harper is a professional photographer and has a very creative eye. Her layout "Natural Beauty" is stunning. She started with the Pink Fishnet paper as her base and layered Lace Stripes, rounding the corners, then layered the Butterfly paper as a matt to her photo's. Then she cut to width the back side of the Cameo paper using it as journaling for the date on the top of the photo and journaling for under it. She then hand cut a butterfly and added one of Taylor's Clips from the Blingage line.

Design team member Stacey says: I think Valentine's Day should be about celebrating all the people we love, including extended family members.  I wanted to document the relationship between my nieces, who are both teenagers.

To create the layout, I simply cut different shaped blocks from five different sheets of patterned papers.  Then I popped some yellow and blue with it!  Don't be afraid to mix Teresa Collin's lines...the Photo Tag and chipboard piece are from the Celebrate and Noel lines!  I love that she makes black and white elements because they are so interchangeable, allowing you to stretch your stash!

Blingage:  Stephanie's Gems, Jamie's Gems, Jesse's Jewels

Posh:  Butterfly, Gray Flourishes, Pink Fishnet, Posh Damask A & B

Design team member Jamie Harder created this wonderful layout of her daughters titled "Sisters". Her base is the back side of the Damask paper. She then cut strips from the Butterflies, Pink Fishnet, and Butterfly paper (one strip from each side). She layered them onto a white cardstock.
We love how she cut an additional butterfly and layered the body using Gentry's Glitter from the Blingage line. She also added a strip along the bottom of her photo from the stars side of the ON THE EDGE tags page. Then she added Stephanies Gems from the Blingage line.

Thank you ladies for some wonderful designs and inspiration.  For more design team inspiration please check out our newsletter.

Teresa Collins Designs - POSH, Heart Wall hanging

Creative team member
Laura McCollough created this amazing wall art in the shape of a heart.

We love how she added McKay's Gems from the blingage line to the top to hang it.

Laura started with her base which is a 12" paper mâché  heart that she had purchased at her local craft store. She hand cut the flowers from three pages of the POSH Flowers Paper cutting them in different sizes. She then glued them with white glue and started layering all her different sized flowers on top of each other to give depth and dimension. She added a stamped message framed in Zach's Book Plate and glued that on top of the hand cut flowers. She used Morgans Tear Drop on the bottom.

This is such a great project Laura thank you so much for such a unique and fun project!

Teresa Collins Designs POSH Jewelery And Newsletter

A girl can never have too much bling. This is why we love jewelry so much. We have two amazing designers who like to mix things up with Teresa Collins Posh line and jewelry. These are the beautiful creations they have created:

Maridette Cachola altered this great ring using the Black Lace and Gray Flourishes paper from the POSH paper line.

Cheri Piles created a reversible necklace with Posh and Blingage:

Cheri was kind enough to share how to create this necklace. Here are the directions below:

Posh Necklace
Designed by Cheri Piles

Supplies:
BLINGAGE: Chain from Ashley's Necklace Morgans Teardrop Small Black round from Seth's Fleur De Lis Gentry's Glitter
Posh paper used: Cameo paper Pink Fishnet paper Gray flourishes paper side B
Misc. Jump rings, silver foil tape

1.cut two CAMEO"S from the cameo paper, glue the cameo's onto chipboard and then together.
2.Glue Gentry's Glitter to the scallop edges of the cameo's and set aside to dry.
3.Cut small circle from the pink fishnet paper, glue it to the back of tear drop round gem, cutting off any access paper. I find it's easier to do this way vs. trying to size it or to  create a pattern.
4.Cut a tear drop shape out of side B of the Gray flourishes paper glue to back of tear drop and cut off access.  Line each piece with silver foil tape.
5. Then I went back to the cameo and filled with Glossy Accents, punched holes in cameo for jump rings
6. Finally I attached all the pieces. I also added the center piece of Seth's fleur de Lis to the chain.

The best part of this necklace is that It's reversible! I love that so much! I hope you enjoy your necklace as much as I do.

It is amazing what Maridette and Cheri created using the Posh line, for more projects check out, our newsletter.  February Newsletter is chalked packed full of inspiration please take a look: http://www.teresacollinsdesigns.com/newsletter/feb2011.pdf

We wanted to welcome you to the Teresa Collins Design Team Blog. We hope we are able to inspire and help spark your creativity. Each week we will feature a project or two with each of our Design Team Members.

Stacey  says...I created this fun and simple Valentine's Day Set that could be used as a gift!  Simply alter a small glass bottle by adding a decorative sleeve and filling it with gum-balls!  The card was made with two sheets of paper and a doily from the craft section of my local hobby store!

Start the bottle by adding a rectangular piece of the Butterfly paper, making a sleeve.

Step Three!  Finish off by tieing the ribbon around the bottle.  I tucked my ends under the hearts!  Add some Blingage and you are done!

Supplies:
Posh:  Posh Butterflies, Butterfly, Pink Fishnet, Gray Flourish

Blingage:  Jesse's Jewels, Stephanie's Gems, Jamie's Gems
Other:  Twine, Doily, Alphabet letters
