Summer Vacation layout using Summer Stories by Keisha Campbell

Hello, Keisha here today sharing a summer vacation layout using the Summer Stories line. Last week we spent our summer vacation on the beach-the first 3 days were totally rained out. Thank goodness our other 4 days were perfect! I was lucky to get these photos just before another storm rolled in-it poured right after these pics were taken (and before).
I am so excited to have some fun beach photos to scrap-this page I ran my Summer Stories papers through my Side Kick. I wish I had a whole sheet of that yellow floral pattern-I LOVE it most of all!!

Summer Stories layout by Keisha Campbell

Hello, Keisha here today sharing a layout using the Summer Stories line. This page features my two youngest girls-Mikiela & Lulu. The two that are my biggest trouble makers! When they are together it may seem sweet, but there are times when they are up to no good-especially at bedtime.

OK, so this page is easy as pie! Just some dies for all the pattern paper shapes using a pretty simple & common page design.

Clean & simple cards Keisha Campbell

Hello TCD's fans, Keisha here today! From time to time I enjoy making simple & clean cards with leftover scraps. It's a good way to get rid of scraps and make a fast project. I try to use every bit of a sheet of paper - I will always use a butterfly punch on left over bits from a used sheet of paper.

I have a drawer I keep extra (precut from scraps)butterflies & flowers. And when I use just a bit of paper, I will make other extra diecuts(to save for future projects)-like the large ticket diecut on the black card. Sometime a little bit of pattern paper is all you need!

Tags & a Card by Keisha

Happy Friday! Keisha blogging today with a couple of tags & a card made using the new Summer Stories line. I focused on using my favorite papers from the line-my TOP fave is the black/white pattern!

I am so into graphic black/white pattern paper these days, and I always want to add a strong pop of color when I use it (like the neon coral thread).

I am also a sucker for notebook pattern paper; it is something I often hoard in my stash.

Then I love the yellow pattern papers from the line and the sweet pink damask. !

Forgive me if you see me use these papers over and over and over again & together!!

Make sure you visit the Design Team Blog tomorrow May 4th on National Scrapbooking Day. We are giving away a Collection pack from the new line Summer Stories!!

Have a happy weekend TCD fans!

Two Page Layout by Keisha

Happy Friday! Today I am sharing my 2-pager using TCD Memories line.

It was a perfect chance for me to use some new photos of Mikiela & Lulu. My intent was to take photos of Mikiela, but she always calls for Lulu, argh!

I wish the photos of the layout turned out better-it was challenging for me to get a good bright & clear photo. And I took TONS-sorry.
I hope that this week of 2-page inspiration turned into weekend motivation!! Have a creative weekend.

Framed Teresa Collins Designs Art by Keisha Campbell

Hello Teresa Collins Designs fans, Keisha here today. Framed art seems to be the theme for the week, lol! It is so cool to see all the different takes on framed TCD artwork. For my take I used my Big Kick to make the hexagons(Spellbinders) & butterfly(Memory Box) shapes.

The woodgrain paper is from the Now & Then line, and the dot & floral papers are from the Memories line. I used a few pop dots to give it some dimension. Super fast & easy project-would be a great gift!

It's FRIDAY...have a great weekend.

Gift tags by Keisha Campbell

Hello, Keisha blogging today! I am sharing a couple of tags I made using the Stationary Noted line.

Making these tags gave me the perfect chance to use a few of my newest dies-like my pinwheel die. I love the fact that it shows both side of the pattern paper at once...and it kind of looks like a bow.

  birthday tag
1. I first cutout my diecut shapes-I am using a Big Kick - Lifestyle Crafts QuicKutz 4-Inch by 4-Inch Flower Pinwheel Die
2. The pinwheel die-you just have to pull the ends together towards the center. And a brad through the center completes the die.
3. I then layered the pinwheel on top of TCD diecut flower and then a vellum flower cut with (Tim Holtz) flower die
4. I glue the layered pinwheel flower onto the tag
5. I added the flag/banners
6. Then I added the straight pin with sentiment

always & forever tag
1. I cut the shapes using the (2)smallest and the next (2)size up
2. Then I layered the shapes on top of each other with pop dots
3. Next I added the layered shapes to the tag
4. I stamped the ticket and added it to the tag with pop dots
5. I wrapped the gold string around the tag - Spellbinders S4-353 Nestabilities Labels 24 Die Template-for the gray tag with the gold string!
6. Then added the pearls

I hope these tags get your creative juices flowing-I love making tags when I need to kick my mojo in action!

Birthday gift box by Keisha Campbell

Hello, Keisha here today! I am sharing a little birthday gift box using Teresa Collins Designs, Memories line.  A little wood box-I covered the bottom of the box with a bit of pattern paper and a few of enamel dots.

The top is just a die cut flower and a flower I made with a punch and slipped a large brad in the center.

I made a little card that fits perfectly inside, so that it is the first thing you see once opened!

This is a perfect little box to place a sweet treasured gift inside.

I Want to Always...by Keisha

Happy Monday, Keisha here with a Valentine layout using Stationary Noted line. I intended for this to have been a 8.5x11 page, and it ended up being 12x12. What I had envisioned in my head didn't work out in real life! I am happy with how my page turned out-it has been a while since I have done a scrapbook page.
I love this line for Valentine projects-it has the traditional RED mixed with the pop of baby blue. I so wanted some hearts on my page-I almost went with a heart garland. Then I thought a line of hearts popping of the page would be better! I then wanted to keep everything else really simple-so that the photo of Kiela & Lulu wouldn't get lost in too much stuff.

Hey everyone! It's Valentines week, we are so excited and we are on week two of our month long of fun giveaways!   All you have to do to enter...is leave a comment each day.  Easy, right?   Make sure you start today...

Enjoy a week of great layouts and cards..

Don't forget to leave a comment each day, And we will post this weeks winner on Monday Feb. 18th.

Congratulations to our WINNER from Last Week's Drawing :

Love by Keisha

Hello TCD's fans, Keisha here sharing some of my Valentine inspiration using Now & Then. I am always excited to make Valentine stuff-I love to use creams & whites as a base with pops of red or pink.
The card is just hearts punched in two sizes and layered on the card. I used a couple of pop dots for the 'love' sticker and stamped the 'always & forever'. Then I pinched a few sequins and let them fall randomly onto the card-and glued them where they fell.
The frame is even more simple to make using a Michael's $2 frame with patten paper cut to fit, a punched red heart and a die cut saying.
