He Said Mini Album with Stacy Rodriguez

Hey there Stacy Rodriguez here with you today.  I love to create mini albums.  I would have to say that they are my favorite project to work on.  I created this mini album using the He Said collection.  Here is a pic of the cover to start with.

For this album I wrapped the cover in some burlap that I had and then simply embellished to cover with some of the die cut pieces from this line.  I hung lots of goodies from a swivel clasp on the side.  Now lets take a look inside.  I love pockets, photo mats and journaling spots in my mini albums.

I used pretty much everything from the collection...decorative tape, chipboard stickers, die cuts, sticky notes, enamel dots....you name it it's in there!

Well thanks for stopping by today and hope that you enjoyed my mini album!  Have a wonderful day.

Antique Mini Album by Cheri Piles using She Said from the He Said, She said collection

Hey everyone, I have another fun and unique book I'm sharing today!
This entire book was created around these antique drawers I picked up at the local antique store and I knew I wanted to do something fun and different with them! So I painted them bright white and removed the knobs.

I attached a hinge to the back of the drawers - You can see the hinge on the video below. Then I added a clasp on the fronts of the drawers using the holes from the original knobs.

Here is a quick view, it's just an accordion album!

Here is a fold out page. To create the flap page I just sat an extra piece of cardstock next to my base page then adhered them together using the matching decorative tape from the collection. Easy Peasy!

I thought it would be fun to use black and white photo's with the collection and it was a perfect match!

I love all of the pocket pages and tags for extra journaling.

Here is the front of one of the fold out pages.

This was such a fun book to make! I hope you are inspired to think outside of the box and create something fun and unique!

Here is a quick little video of the book, I hope you enjoy!

Mini Frames with Rachel McAffee

Hello!
Rachel here to share a SUPER quick and easy home decor project. I found these mini frames at my local craft store and thought they would be perfect for a fun project using supplies from the Memories and She Said collections. They would also make a sweet gift for a loved one in your life.

The first frame uses damask paper from the She Said line and die cuts from the Memories and She Said collection. I added a little medallion on top of layered pennant die cuts toward the bottom.

This fun aqua frame uses polka dot paper a doily sticker from the Memories collection. The butterfly and "you are my sunshine" sticker are from the She Said collection. Of course I had to add the cute enamel dots, they're my favorite supply these days!

Cut out the paper to fit into the frame and add your embellishments on top of the paper.
And there you have it, quick and easy home decor!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Featured Fan Friday!!

Happy Friday!  I am so happy it's finally starting to look like spring where I live.
But I hear there's plenty of places that still have snow...yikes!
Well, if it's not too springy in your neck of the woods, I have something to share that will make you smile for sure!

Introducing today's Featured Fan...Chantelle Huizenga from Busselton, Western Australia! :)

You have GOT to see the mini book she did with He Said, She Said (plus some doo dads from her stash as well.)  It is just amazing...

I love how she used the line in different ways...and the pictures of her little guy are so cute!
She put together a slide show (with music guaranteed to make you happy)...

Hi – I’m Chantelle and I live in Western Australia in a gorgeous seaside town with my family – I have a supportive hubby and four beautiful boys who feature a lot in my pages.  I have always been creative and involving myself in various crafts.
Today, my focus is solely on scrapbooking which involves; taking great pictures of my family and surroundings, sourcing great products to use on my pages, experimenting with mixed media, joining in with challenges and being on Design Teams.
I would describe my style of scrapping at ‘artsy classic’ – which is clean designs with an artistic touch.  I love to include paint, mist and ink to all my LO’s and banners are one of my favourites at the moment.  But my layouts do vary and are often governed by the challenges I’m participating in.  I do love being challenged to create outside of what my usual style is.
I’m so happy to have my mini album featured here at Teresa Collins Designs

To see more of her beautiful work, you can visit Chantelle's blog, Chantelle's Creative Space HERE.

Thank you so much for sharing with us Chantelle! :)

Don't forget to link your work (I will fix the link this time!)...to the next FFF post on Sunday, March 31.  (Happy Easter!)   Or share your work on the Teresa Collins Designs Facebook page.
You could be our next fan featured on April 26th. :)

Spring Decor with Rachel McAffee

Nothing says spring like soft baby bunnies and colorful, spinning pinwheels.
Rachel here to give you a couple quick ideas for some fun spring decor using the She Said and Memories collection.
The first project is a framed washi tape bunny. I saw this tutorial on Pinterest and thought it was so adorable!   The washi tape from the He Said /She Said collection is perfect for this project because of the bright and happy spring colors.
For the bunny I googled  "rabbit silhouette" and several popped up. I chose my favorite and printed it out. Next, I flipped the paper over on the wrong side and started covering the rabbit silhouette with different colors and patterns of washi tape. You're going to want to keep doing this step until the entire bunny is covered.
Next, flip the bunny over to the printed side and cut it out.

I then cut out a 5x7 piece of paper from the She Said collection and adhered the bunny to the sheet of paper. Pop it in a frame and that's it!

Here are the instructions for the pinwheels:
1, Start with a 4"x 4" square piece of paper.
2. Fold your square corner to corner then unfold.
3. Make a pencil mark about 1/3 away from the center.
4.Cut along the fold lines and stop at your pencil mark.
5. Bring every other point into the center and stick a pin through all four points. Make sure your pin pokes all the way through the center.
6. Stick the pin into a thin dowel, or in this case, I used paper straws.
7. Attach brad to the middle of the pinwheel.

A cute idea to display your pinwheels is to wrap strips of washi tape around a mason jar and fill it with paper grass. You could also fill the jar with colorful jelly beans!

I hope your spring is filled with carefree days of lying in the grass and watching pinwheels twirl in the breeze. ;)
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!

Pocket tags .... with Julie

I think I am having a pocket phase.  They are showing up everywhere in my projects.  Mini book pages, layouts, and hey...tags.  Why not?  :)  I think it's because I like it when you can stuff more stuff into something, you know?

I used the She Said line (love those corally-oranges and yellows!)
For the bigger tag, I used a kraft tag I had laying around as a template.  Then I measured the top piece to make the pocket....use a small circle punch and punch in the middle BEFORE you sew it on.

Use a smaller circle punch to make the hole thingy at the top.  That's totally not the technical term for it.
Adhere the circle, and then use your 1/4" hole punch to make the center.
I added some chipboard...and cut apart the arrows from the Arrows paper.  The 'Take Note' insert is a piece cut down a bit from the die-cut sheet.

For this tag, I actually used 2 of the journaling cards from the Notecards paper.

Start by cutting out these two cards...then score 5" from the left and fold up.

Then sew the left and right edges...

I used my corner rounder on the top corners.
Then I punched a large heart (Recollections) from dictionary paper...and added garland.

Then I couldn't stop making tags...so I made these little quick ones:

I used a Recollections tag punch and some white card stock.  These are super simple, and meant to be quick little extras for birthday gifts, etc.
I should explain...I used the 'blah blah blah' die cut because this tag is intended for my 13 year old daughter, Belle...who never EVER stops talking.  Seriously.
(I don't know where she gets it from.)

You can't really see in the other picture, but there's jute string for attaching on each one.

Ok.  So then I saw Teresa's envelopes and thought...perfect, another pocket tag:

I added dictionary paper for background...and cut apart a journaling card for the extras.
Add the hole thingy at the top (same way as before) and some ribbon. :)

Ok...show us YOUR tags!  Or any of your projects...don't forget to link to the Featured Fan Friday post.  Or share it on the Teresa Collins Designs Facebook page.
